Every year, Habitat Tucson has donated to global build efforts that improve the lives of people around the world.
Our support helps families in the most vulnerable global locations find access to potable water, shelter and stability. On average, we help 23 families each year through these efforts.
In 2016, Habitat Tucson was recognized for tithing over $1,000,000. We designate a percentage of our budget every year to Global Impact efforts.
We are currently assisting communities in Mexico and Bangladesh. Over the years we have assisted families in Mexico, Haiti, Uganda, and Bandladesh.
Habitat for Humanity builds in 1,400 communities and and serves 8 million people a year.
In 2016 we sent our first team on a Habitat Global Village trip. Habitat volunteers from Tucson helped build safe and stable homes in Chiapas, Mexico.
