Fiscal year 2021-2022 was an unprecedented time for the HabiStore!
The support of our community has empowered the HabiStore to become a Tucson staple. Because of your socially-conscious shopping choices, the HabiStore has created new opportunities to support affordable housing. Our online store and new social media campaigns have started bringing the HabiStore into the digital world. We utilized the unique expertise of skilled volunteers like Adin (right) to accurately price items to achieve the best value for the mission.
HabiStore sales reached 2.05 million dollars in 2021 – 2022. Because of the HabiStore alone, Habitat Tucson funded the construction of approximately 6 homes in 2021 – 2022.
These homes will be purchased by families in need of affordable housing.
The HabiStore’s success has largely been due to an amazing team of volunteers, staff, and community support through donations and shopping. Their teamwork and expertise has improved efficiency, sales, and the visual appearance of the store.
Of course, we couldn’t do it without your donations. Everyday people like you and me decide that their used goods could make a difference in the greater Tucson area. One person’s ‘clutter’ is another person’s treasure!
