Banner – University Medicine has donated several facility and business office items to Habitat for Humanity Tucson HabiStore.org. The items donated include flooring, conference tables, cabinets, fence poles and fencing, as well as tables.
The estimated donation is valued at $50K, new. The donated items will be sold by HabiStore at a fraction of the retail price and proceeds will be used to raise money for Habitat homebuilding projects. Thanks to donations from community members like Banner – University Medicine, more than 1,040 tons are saved from the local landfill annually.

The HabiStore helps keep items out of the landfill, local residents have an opportunity to purchase gently used items at an affordable price and all proceeds help build and repair affordable homes with low-income families. Habitat for Humanity Tucson’s HabiStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used building materials, appliances, furniture and home accessories at a fraction of the retail price. More than 1,040 tons are saved from the local landfill annually thanks to HabiStore donations.
