Our construction sites are open on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The activities of the day can vary and may include painting, drywall, framing, carpentry, roofing, electrical, plumbing, stucco prep, site clean-up, and landscaping. Instruction and tools are provided on site, no experience is necessary.
Volunteer shift start times vary depending on season. We typically build for a 6-hour shift.

Neighborhood Partnership Program (NPP)

Habitat for Humanity Tucson utilizes volunteers to improve the neighborhoods surrounding our Habitat homes.   A wide variety of projects can help to improve our communities such as house painting, graffiti clean-up, tree planting, improvement of home energy efficiency, trash pick-up, gardening, and critical home repairs.  Sign up to volunteer if you would like to assist with these Neighborhood Partnership Program.

The HabiStore sells new and gently used building and home improvement materials, appliances and furniture to the public which helps support Habitat programs. If you enjoy customer service and being organized this is the place for you! Duties may include assisting customers, pricing merchandise, answering questions, inventory management, and cleaning the store. The HabiStore is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
You can volunteer for the full 8-hour shift or a 4-hour shift.

Partner with a Future Homeowner

Habitat for Humanity Tucson is looking for Partners to work with the families who are in our program preparing to get a house. The time commitment is 2-4 hours a month. You would attend a once-a-month class with your partner family, meet and/or talk with the family monthly, assist them in developing two different budgets, and introduce them at their dedication when they receive their house. Often these relationships turn into life-long friendships. You will play a very important role in helping people to become responsible first-time homeowners.
