Habitat for Humanity Tucson works to end poverty housing by building safe, decent and affordable homes for deserving local families. We believe shelter is a basic human need and everyone deserves a simple place to live and grow.

We are an Equal Housing Opportunity provider and comply with federal regulations regarding housing discrimination. We consider applicants without regard to their race, religious preference, gender, physical ability, familial status, or national origin.

All Habitat applicants are considered for our program based on their ability to pay, willingness to partner and need.  Habitat homes are sold, not given, to selected Habitat homeowners with a 15 to 25 year, no interest loan. Homeowners are required to pay a modest down payment in addition to volunteering 200 hours of ‘sweat equity’ per adult, per home.
