Volunteer Matching

Do you have an idea for a project that would improve your neighborhood?

Are you short on hands or tools?

Habitat for Humanity Tucson has a Volunteer Matching Program to help supply volunteers for neighborhood improvement projects in the areas where we are building homes (Sunnyside and Flowing Wells neighborhoods, as well as the areas surrounding the Copper Vista and Corazon del Pueblo subdivisions see map below).

We ask community members to design a neighborhood improvement project and enlist at least 5 volunteers in support of the project.  Habitat Tucson will match the number of volunteers and support the project in whatever non-monetary way possible such as making tools available, arranging trash hauling, or providing supervision for small repair and painting projects.  You come up with the idea, we’ll help execute it!

Or contact us by phone at (520) 326-1217 ext. 208 or by email at tomh@habitattucson.org.
