The HabiStore relies on the donation of items from the public, contractors, store owners and others to stock the store and continue to raise fund to build homes.

On several occasions, we have been called by homeowners planning major kitchen and/or bathroom renovations to come and take out the appliances, cabinets and fixtures.  If this is on your 2013 to do list, please give us a call! You’ll be glad you put this number in your phone: (520) 889-7200.

Before you bring something by, we ask that you please call first to make sure we can accept it.  Depending on the item and your location, we can also arrange for free pick-up!

Here are just a few examples of items we accept:

  • Appliances that are less than 10 years old and in good working order
  • Tools

img_8177The HabiStore is also the site for the Green Living Fair every fall. The public is invited to come and see the latest in green vehicles, meet local vendors selling solar bikes, lighting and panels, learn how to make compost, recycle water and grow organic fruits and vegetables. Mrs. Green is always on hand to offer advice and give away items that make life more green (and fun!). Click here to see photos from the 2012 event.
