We are looking for someone with outstanding customer service skills, experience handling cash and a high degree of integrity. The position will be approximately 3 days per week, including Saturdays and the successful applicant must have the flexibility to fill in when the other part-time cashier is sick or on vacation.

Travel on I-10 and exit at Craycroft Rd. Go North on Craycroft toward the TTT Truck Stop, turn right on Rex Rd.  Rex Rd becomes E. Elvira Rd. Follow E. Elvira Rd. into Corazon Del Pueblo Turn right on Paseo de la Communidad and park on the street.

We’re doubly excited to have also been awarded a $5,000 grant from Cars for Homes!

The grant will allow us to participate in the 2012 Cars for Homes Build Day scheduled during the week of America Recycles Day on November 15, 2012.

“Everyone who has donated their car to us through this program will be invited to come out to the job site to swing a hammer on Build Day. It will be day of celebration, complete with unique t-shirts and activities,” said Maureen Vosburgh, Habitat’s Director of Philanthropy. “We will use the grant to purchase building materials.”

We have volunteer opportunities for just about everyone and we are working hard to complete 15 homes at our Corazon Del Pueblo development.  We need your help to complete them in our allotted time frame! We especially need volunteers who can build on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The first step to begin volunteering is to attend a New Volunteer Orientation.  We have several options for you to complete this step:

Option 1: You can take our online Volunteer Orientation, it will take about 40-50 minutes to complete.  Click here to learn more.

 Option 2: We offer orientations at our office located at 621 W Lester St, Tucson, 85705 that are usually about an hour long.  Sign up for one here.
