Executive Committee
  • Ellen Wheeler, President
    CEO, Morris K. Udall Foundation

    A native Tucsonan and a graduate of the UA School of Law, Ellen is the Executive Director of the Udall Foundation, an agency within the executive branch of the U.S. government. After a one-year hiatus, Ellen is returning to the board of directors of Habitat Tucson, having previously served on the board for 9 years.

  • Angela Baurley, Immediate Past President
    CEO/President, Affinity Financial Group

    Angela has been an active member of Habitat’s Finance and Audit Committees for five years and was recently named Board president. Prior to opening Affinity Financial Group, she was a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley. She is a graduate of Indiana University and earned her MBA from the University of Arizona.

  • Jeff Singleton, Treasurer
    CFO, Doucette Communities

    Business partner of CEO Tom Doucette, Jeff runs the financial operations of one of Tucson’s premier, award-winning, homebuilding companies. Jeff has served on Habitat Tucson’s finance committee for the past six years.

  • Maureen Vosburgh, Vice President of Fund Development
    Luxury  Property Specialist, Long Realty Company

    A “top producer” with Coldwell Banker residential realty, Maureen is known not only for her professional accomplishments in real-estate, but also for her dedicated community service. Prior to Tucson, Maureen was a commercial real-estate broker in Connecticut and served as VP of the board of directors for a social-service nonprofit with a housing program.

  • Joe White, Past President and VP Board Relations
    General Manager (retired), 3M Company

    Joe has actively volunteered with Habitat for the last six years, assisting with inventory planning, construction warranty follow-up and, most recently, as President of the Board. A native of Oklahoma, Joe received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Arizona. He spent 32 years at 3M Company in St. Paul in technical and management positions.

  • Steve Cooke, Vice President of Volunteers
    First President - Wealth Management, MorganStanley SmithBarney

Steve recently moved from Georgia to Tucson to manage the local Smith Barney branch and has quickly become active in the community as a board member for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tucson and a Habitat Tucson construction volunteer.  His ties to Habitat extend to the Deep South, where he was Board President for the Valdosta/Lowndes Habitat for Humanity in Georgia.

  • Gordon Yarrington, Secretary
    Broker Associate, Long Realty

A Habitat volunteer for 14 years Gordon happily rejoins the Board and the Executive Committee. A 20 year veteran brokering Tucson Residential real estate, Gordon also assists with many of HFHT’s real estate transactions and is Co-chair of the Tucson Association of Realtors HFHT fundraising committee.
