The Hernandez Family cuts the ribbon on one of the first Copper Vista homes!

Habitat for Humanity Tucson is excited to have two additional subdivisions for new Habitat homes, located 2 blocks south of Drexel between Campbell and Park.  Called, Copper Vista I and Copper Vista II, the subdivisions are legally and geographically separate, although they are just a few blocks apart.

Together, these properties will yield a total of 58 lots for us to continue building safe, decent, affordable homes through 2016.

Copper Vista homes will feature two to four bedrooms and will range from 1,100 to 1,500 square feet.  Included at Copper Vista will be two innovative two-story floor plans – a Habitat Tucson first! – designed in partnership with the University of Arizona School of Architecture, and the Drachman Institute.

Habitat was fortunate to receive these lots through relationships with our government partners that were founded on years of consistently meeting and exceeding our commitments with them.  We are grateful to the City of Tucson for providing these properties, and in doing so increasing our capacity to serve more local, hard-working individuals and families with affordable housing.
